Songlines to celebrate tenth year at Larmer Tree Gardens
On July 17, the Songlines HQ will be deserted as the team head to Larmer Tree Gardens for four days of music, comedy, art, film, food, drink and a host of quirky activities.
We will be celebrating our tenth year at the Larmer Tree Festival, which has been running for 23 summers on the Wiltshire/Dorset border. We’ll be hosting CD signings and selling merchandise form a stellar selection of artists performing this year.
The mouth-watering musical line-up includes Van Morrison, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Seasick Steve, Imelda May, Bellowhead, the Richard Thompson Electric Trio, KT Tunstall, Sam Lee, The Bombay Royale, plus BBC Introducing’s Cymbal, who will be opening the festival’s Main Stage, and many more.
There will also be performances from the winners in the Larmer Tree Breakthrough Music Awards. The Bristol-based 5-piece Goan Dogs were winners in the band category, and you can catch them on the Big Top stage on Thursday (July 18) at 8:30pm. The singer-songwriter award went to the Dorset-duo Ninebarrow, who will be performing at the Arc on Thursday at 2pm. Watch videos of both below.
